BLOOM WHERE YOU ARE PLANTED

On behalf of the Stevens Elementary PTCO, I’d like to welcome you to Stevens Elementary! My name is Coree Laabs and I am honored to serve as the PTCO President for the 2021-2022 school year. This is my 4th year serving on the PTCO Board and my 1st year as a parent to a Stevens Stallion. I am a full-time working mom of three, my oldest having started kindergarten just this year. My involvement with Stevens has grown from a “minor community volunteer initiative” to a love, appreciation and devotion to this campus that feels more like a family.

At Stevens, Principal Trent and her faculty live by the motto “Bloom Where You Are Planted.”  This is a motto that the PTCO tries to embrace in everything we do.  These past four years, Stevens Elementary has experienced so much growth and continues to bloom into a lovely neighborhood school.  Whether you are a current parent, future parent, or interested community member, we would love for you to join us on this journey.  It has already been an exciting year and we have so much more to look forward to in the second half of the academic year!

Sincerely,

Coree Laabs, PTCO President
